The time is finally here! Get ready to #UnboxYourPhone! The techno-giant Samsung just released their new flagship phones! I present to you, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+!
I’m pretty sure that all the android and samsung loving guys out there are very pleased with this news. I mean look at the phone! It’s freaking sexy and sophisticated! Who would not second turn to this beauty? If you guys are planning to get your hands on the newest offering of Samsung, I’ve collated some of the amazing features that this phone has to offer. I’m not saying that it’s a “must have” for guys but it may potentially add to your “Macho” appeal! (Wink!)
1. A Good, Solid Grip!
It’s not a secret now that Samsung would be releasing two new phones, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8+. The main problem that I personally had when I got the chance to use the Samsung galaxy S7 is its curved edge display (which is totally amazing when playing a game or watching a movie). I always tend to touch the screens on the side of the phone and just let it take me to another app. My hands are fairly large and I couldn’t help but to touch the edge of the screen while using it!
Now, looking at the new phones I noticed a slight change when it comes to the grip of the phone. Although the phone became bezel-less, the sides of the phone became a bit raised comparing the much curved edge of the S7. This doesn’t only make the S8 and S8+ more pleasing to hold but it also helps with the infinite display that samsung is aiming for making the screen seamlessly connect with the outside world.
2. Size Always Matters!
The two new releases would have two sizes as well; a 5.8″ S8 and a 6.2″ S8+. Now that’s more space than you could ever imagine! I mean, the literal galaxy would be in your hands with those large display panels!
In addition to the phone’s towering display size, the thin body of the device make it sit comfortably on your palms. Think of it as a mini flat screen TV! How cool is that?!
3. Selfie, Perfected!
The Samsung galaxy S8 and S8+ boasts cameras that goes beyond Selfie-taking comprehension! The front facing camera has an 8 megapixel (MP) AF wide selfie range and F1.7 aperture. In layman’s term, it’s the PERFECT selfie camera for you to show how good-looking and macho you are! The rear facing camera has a dual pixel 12 MP AF lens with optical image stabilisation (OIS). So no matter how shaky you get, the pictures always come out vividly perfect (you know *wink*). The rear facing camera also has F1.7 aperture and a 8x digital maximum zoom capacity. The rear facing camera also houses different modes like Panorama, Slow Motion, Hyperlapse, Food Mode (#Flatlays!), Pro Mode or just save your photos as a raw file.
If you think that these features are too many already, you better think again! Both cameras also has VDIS (Video Digital Image Stabilisation), HDR (High Dynamic Range), Selective focus (Bokeh effect), Virtual shot, Motion photo, Filters, Stickers, Stamps, Grid line, Location tags, Timer, Quick launch, and Voice control! The phone’s camera also records 4K videos! This is freaking amazing!
4. Performance Is A MUST!
The flagship phones has a solid Octa-core (2.3GHz Quad + 1.7GHz Quad), 64 bit, 10nm processor. Meaning, you could multi-task in the speed of light even if the apps you’re using are processor hungry. The Samsung galaxy S8 and S8+ also sport 4GB RAM (LPDDR4) and 64GB (UFS 2.1) both intended for graphic heavy games and tasks to unload heavy processing to the phones processing units. Although these phone would sure make every guys’ dream a reality, these performance specifications would vary from every country. Since the phone supports LTE Cat.16 (Which would primarily be faster), it would not be applicable here in the Philippines or other countries with slow internet connection because, Duh! Anyways, while boasting its use for LTE Cat.16 the phones would also be WiFi a/b/g/n/ac compatible. This means that the range and strength of the wifi receiving and dispersing capabilities of the phone would be stable and strong. In addition, this phone is water resistant! Yes!
5. Juice it UP!
The Samsung galaxy S8 and S8+ would have a battery life that would satisfy even the heaviest of gamers and phone users! The Samsung galaxy S8 would have a 3000 mAh battery and the Samsung galaxy S8+ would have 3500 mAh battery. I mean, I won’t give you the numbers anymore all I can say is that this phone would withstand hours of selfie taking moments! Which is a great deal, right?
6. How Secure Would You Be?
The new flagship phones would have knox protection which is a real-time device monitoring and protection; a virus, malware prevention (Powered by Intel Security) and a secure folder which is intended for a secure space on the device to keep content such as apps, photos, movies, and files private using either iris scanning or fingerprint scanning.
In addition with these security features, the phones would also have biometrics (finger print and iris scanners and face recognition) and the usual letter and pin passwords. You guys could make your James Bond dreams come true! I mean pair this with their revamped bixby, you could conquer the world! I mean the Universe! What the, The Galaxy!!!
7. Color It Up!
The new range of flagship phones would sport 5 different colours to suit your style!
They would have Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold. I’m pretty sure you would have your favorite color from one of these! The phone does not only package powerful electronics it also has an aye for aesthetics! I’ve got to give it to the Midnight Black, look at it! It’s so sexy and sophisticated!
These are just 7 of the things that I wanted to point out regarding the new Samsung galaxy S8 and S8+. There are several new features that these phones have but I only wanted to point out the things that, for me, really made me think of purchasing the new phones from samsung. If you guys love and support Samsung, be sure to be the first to get these new cool phones!
